Butterfly TeleGuidance can be used by any healthcare professional. It allows a trained scanner to remotely connect and collaborate with a peer.
TeleGuidance involves streaming a video feed while imaging which can be demanding for device hardware. As a result, TeleGuidance is only currently supported on more recent Apple devices.
If reception is poor, you will notice a reduction in video quality, with a lower resolution on the two video feeds and potentially a lower frame rate. If the network connection is very poor, you may see the call drop or you may not be able to connect at all. TeleGuidance works well on WiFi or 4G networks.
